Business Analyst

Overview

Analyze an organization's processes and systems, assess the business model and its integration with technology, and define current and future state business solutions in the Life Sciences R&D domain.

What you'll do

• Examine the structure and operations of an organization to understand how processes and systems function together.
• Evaluate the existing business model and how it aligns with technological solutions.
• Identify customer and stakeholder requirements.
• Define the future state and/or business solution.
• Research, gather and synthesize information from diverse sources to support decision-making.
• Act as an SME, collaborate with and manage the team, and take responsibility for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams, contribute on key decisions, and provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across teams.
• Facilitate communication between business units and technical teams to ensure alignment of objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying gaps and recommending enhancements.
• Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing knowledge.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Life Sciences R&D.
• Proficiency in Life Sciences R&D.
• 15 years full time education.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex business processes and translate them into actionable requirements.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise between stakeholders and technical teams.
• Ability to conduct thorough research and synthesize information from multiple sources.
• Experience in process design and business model assessment within regulated environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with Veeva Vault.
• Business Requirements Analysis experience.
• Life Sciences Industry experience.
