Business Analyst+Guidewire - Senior Associate

Overview

Business Analyst with Guidewire experience for a Senior Associate role within PwC's Data, Analytics & AI practice in the Acceleration Center India, focused on data and analytics engineering work that supports client data solutions.

What you'll do

• Design and build data pipelines, integration flows, and transformation logic for client solutions
• Analyze complex data engineering problems and translate business needs into technical requirements
• Use Guidewire-related data knowledge to support modernization, migration, and system integration efforts
• Develop cloud-based data infrastructure across AWS, Azure, Databricks, and Snowflake environments
• Validate data quality, lineage, and performance across warehouse, lake, and analytics platforms
• Tune database structures, queries, and processing workflows to improve load times and usability
• Interpret data patterns to inform recommendations for architecture, scalability, and platform design
• Support client conversations by clarifying needs, managing workstream progress, and adapting to changing priorities
• Review deliverables from junior team members and provide feedback to support technical growth
• Apply data governance, security, and anonymization practices across engineering activities

What you'll need

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 4 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English

Nice to have

• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics
• Guidewire business analysis experience in client service settings
• Interpreting data trends to inform recommendations and project direction
• Applying critical thinking to complex data and workflow challenges
• Building client connections while navigating changing priorities
• Mentoring junior team members through assigned workstreams
