Business Analytics Lead Analyst - Vice President

Overview

Lead business analysis for Finance technology initiatives by defining requirements, enhancing processes, exploring and analyzing business data, and supporting technology teams and stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and data demand requirements, including BRDs, FRDs, and user stories.
• Translate business needs into clear system specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Create test plans and test cases, and support System Testing and UAT.
• Track and resolve issues using JIRA and Confluence, and collaborate with technology teams.
• Develop business context and knowledge across systems, processes, and associated data models.
• Become a subject matter expert in the organization's systems, processes, and associated data models.
• Understand existing data and reporting across multiple platforms.
• Gather information by connecting with people across business teams and technology.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of business data.
• Extract, transform, and analyze data using a range of tools and technologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their specific needs and translate those needs into effective analytical solutions.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Safeguard the integrity and quality of data underpinning analytical initiatives.
• Establish and maintain governance processes to ensure compliance with requirements and internal standards.

What you'll need

• 10 years + of Business Analysis experience in Finance.
• Proficiency in data analysis with an understanding of data models and strong SQL skills.
• Experience with BA tools: JIRA, Confluence, Visio, MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, process mapping, and documentation.
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Business Analysis experience with Controllers, Treasury, or FP&A.
