Business Architect

Overview

Business Architect role in Cisco’s WW Distribution Sales & Finance organization, focused on managing projects and enhancing the WW Distribution Foundation data warehouse for financial reporting and analytics.

What you'll do

• Design, plan, and coordinate business-related projects from initiation through delivery.
• Translate business requirements into actionable analytics solutions while managing scope, timelines, resources, and risks.
• Enhance and maintain the WW Distribution Foundation data warehouse for reporting, analytics, and automation.
• Manage data and reporting issues and coordinate with upstream teams for timely resolution.
• Prioritize reporting enhancements, system updates, and business requests based on stakeholder needs and impact.
• Partner with Cisco IT, Finance IT, WIPS, and Data & Analytics teams to assess upstream change impact.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications, Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience working with the Cisco WW Distribution Foundation data warehouse.
• Strong knowledge of the architecture and data structure of the Cisco WW Distribution environment.
• Deep knowledge of Cisco Finance Business Intelligence (FinBI), SAP HANA, and Partner Database.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects involving business and technology teams.
• Experience with databases/technologies including SAP HANA, MS SQL Server, Oracle, and Snowflake.
