Overview
Associate Engineer for PAS-X (MES), supporting Manufacturing Execution Systems with observability, CI/CD, automation, and AI-enabled problem solving to keep production systems stable and responsive.
What you'll do
- Monitor multiple manufacturing systems and use predictive analytics to maintain performance and stability.
- Detect and resolve PAS-X environment issues early using tools like Grafana, Atternity, Nagios, and AWS CloudWatch.
- Drive automation for PAS-X deployments and maintenance, including CI/CD practices for regulated environments.
- Contribute to PAS-X Core3 migration and cloud enablement efforts.
- Own issues end-to-end and apply AI-enabled problem-solving with Lean, PPS, and Six Sigma principles.
- Use DevOps/Agile practices and tools (Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) for build and release management.
- Collaborate with users, infrastructure/middleware teams, and vendors to resolve incidents and align solutions to production goals.
What you'll need
- At least three years prior experience in application support and maintenance (L2/L3 support).
- At least three years demonstrated experience managing and supporting a Manufacturing Execution System; Werum PAS-X is an advantage.
- Monitoring and anomaly detection for production control platforms and manufacturing systems.
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Kubernetes and Docker, plus version control and CI/CD tools like GitHub/GitLab and Jenkins.
- Experience developing and diagnosing issues in applications built on .NET technologies.
- Troubleshooting experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or other RDBMS.
- Experience following ITIL processes for incident, problem, change, and release management; experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow/Remedy/Service Manager.
