Overview

Software Engineer Specialist to build and evolve cloud foundation services for SaaS products.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and evolve scalable cloud foundation services used across multiple products.
• Own detailed technical design and implementation of complex capabilities from requirements to production.
• Write high-quality code and solve complex distributed systems and engineering problems.
• Partner with architects to translate architectural direction into production software and give implementation feedback.
• Improve reliability, performance, observability, testability, and maintainability of platform services.
• Lead code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root-cause analysis and resolution.
• Mentor engineers through hands-on collaboration, reviews, and technical guidance.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience building backend, cloud-native, or large-scale SaaS applications.
• Hands-on Java/JVM and modern backend framework experience.
• Experience designing and building REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Ability to translate architecture into detailed designs and production-quality implementations.
• Experience with scalable applications on AWS or another major cloud platform.
• Strong distributed systems understanding (scalability, concurrency, consistency, availability, resiliency, fault tolerance).
• Hands-on Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Git experience.
