Business Control Testing Specialist, AVP

Overview

Business Control Testing Specialist (AVP) for Private Bank, providing independent assurance on control design and operating effectiveness.

What you'll do

• Plan and execute risk-based control testing to assess adherence to laws, rules, regulations, and internal standards.
• Perform regular design and operational effectiveness testing for controls managing Operational Risk and Compliance risks.
• Partner with business and control functions to agree remediation actions and support sustainable control improvements.
• Communicate testing outcomes via high-quality reports and track issues and actions to completion.
• Use data analysis, analytical tools, and AI technology to enhance testing coverage, efficiency, and insight.
• Collaborate with other testing teams on cross-jurisdictional reviews.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience in Compliance, Audit, Risk, or other regulatory background within financial services.
• Good knowledge of banking/financial markets business and its rules and regulations in Europe and globally.
• Deep understanding of operational and compliance risks.
• Proven ability to use approved AI and data analytics tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent writing, communication, and negotiation skills.
