Business Risk and Control Specialist, AVP

Overview

Business Risk and Control Specialist (AVP) in Private Bank’s Business Risk & Controls (BRC) team, based in Mumbai. The role supports controls culture and ORM controls framework requirements across business stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Review and challenge proposed key controls and support control assessments under the NFR framework.
• Support control change proposals tied to identified control gaps and changes in the PB business landscape.
• Gatekeep Private Bank’s key controls inventory for completeness, accuracy, and traceability.
• Act as a Divisional Controls SME and support deliverables and strategic initiatives for Private Bank.
• Support bank control-framework deliverables including annual certifications and controls-to-findings linkages.
• Contribute to divisional/global projects and CTB activities from a controls perspective.

What you'll need

• Strong understanding of Non-Financial Risk and control design principles.
• Extensive experience with control records, controls testing, assurance, or business control unit.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken forms and influence senior stakeholders.
• Structured, detail-oriented approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• University degree.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity with responsible and ethical use.
