Business Controller - Business Controlling and Analytics

Overview

Business Controller for Business Controlling and Analytics, supporting business leaders and the Finance Director with financial insight, performance monitoring, and KPI/value assurance across business lines.

What you'll do

• Partner with business leaders and support business performance driving and monitoring.
• Manage and analyze financial performance including monthly and year-to-date orders, sales, and margins.
• Facilitate planning, forecasting, and the budget process.
• Calculate and update labor rates and burden rates for tendering and order booking.
• Monitor compliance of order recognition/revenue recognition and perform sample checks.
• Develop/order-booking KPIs (e.g., p2f/p2p/cost overrun) and support revenue and cost recognition for completion.
• Support planning for projects, including commercials terms, cash flow forecasting, risks/opportunities, and scenarios.

What you'll need

• Minimum 15–20 years of industrial experience, preferably in manufacturing, including cost planning, profitability analysis, financial modelling, and business partnering.
• Academic qualification: Intermediate completion of Professional course CA/ICWA/CIMA.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge.
• SAP ERP (or similar) and BI tools working knowledge.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills with ability to build trust among stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of IT tools and flair for automation.
• Ability/willingness to travel within and outside India.
