Business Intelligence Architect (Canada)

Overview

Business Intelligence Architect (Canada) supporting current and future data needs by designing, implementing, and improving BI infrastructure, with a focus on Power BI and related platforms.

What you'll do

• Design and deliver end-to-end BI solutions using Power BI and Fabric.
• Build and maintain enterprise semantic models for business reporting.
• Manage and optimize the Power BI/Fabric environment and capacities.
• Collaborate with data, analytics, and governance teams.
• Automate reporting and BI processes using the Power Platform.
• Support business users and translate technical concepts into insights.

What you'll need

• 6-8 years of experience with Power BI/Microsoft Fabric and Premium/Fabric capacities.
• Expert DAX and Power Query, with strong data modelling skills.
• Advanced SQL experience handling large, complex datasets.
• Knowledge of Power BI security (RLS/OLS, workspaces, Entra groups).
• Experience with enterprise semantic models and supporting report creators.
• Good knowledge of Python plus hands-on experience with Power Automate.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
