Overview
Business Manager - Vendor Management is responsible for growth, profitability, and market share for an assigned PC product portfolio, including vendor/OEM management, product lifecycle, pricing, inventory, and go-to-market execution.
What you'll do
- Manage the complete P&L for the assigned PC category/business.
- Develop and execute business plans to meet revenue, margin, and market share targets.
- Run vendor/OEM business reviews and negotiate commercial terms, pricing, rebates, promotions, and support programs.
- Handle product launches, transitions, and end-of-life planning; analyze trends and customer requirements.
- Set pricing strategies, monitor competitor pricing, and manage margins across products and channels.
- Collaborate on forecasting and inventory planning; monitor stock availability and ageing inventory.
- Support sales and marketing by driving product adoption, training, campaigns, and channel programs.
What you'll need
- 4-8+ years of experience in product/category/vendor/business management in IT distribution, PC/laptop, or technology products.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience managing vendor/OEM relationships and commercial negotiations.
- Experience with product lifecycle management, including launches and end-of-life planning.
- Ability to develop pricing strategies and manage profitability and margins.
- Experience collaborating with supply chain teams on forecasting and inventory planning.
