Business Operations Associate

Overview

Supports HP's supply chain and operations, executing reporting and analytics responsibilities, creating dashboards and reports, and resolving complex supply chain issues while identifying opportunities to optimize operational processes.

What you'll do

• Support complex transactional processes for specialized job assignments with minimal supervision.
• Serve as a primary data resource for exempt-level employees by delivering specialized reports, typically in a consultative manner.
• Identify complex supply chain anomalies and lead process-oriented tasks to resolve them.
• Monitor the execution of process-oriented tasks of lower level contributors.
• Provide troubleshooting and problem-solving support for basic to complex level problems.
• Support the development and execution of business strategies and programs aligned with strategic business objectives.
• Collaborate with customer support teams to address operational issues and improve the customer experience.
• Utilize technology and software tools to improve operational efficiency, such as implementing new software or automation solutions.
• Drive the training of new hires and lower level roles.

What you'll need

• High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED)/Higher Secondary education or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically 6-8 years of related work experience, preferably in supply chain, operations, or a related field.
• Knowledge and skills in Continuous Improvement Process, Data Analysis, Enterprise Resource Planning, Finance, Inventory Control, Inventory Management, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Lean Manufacturing, Material Requirements Planning, Materials Management, Process Improvement, Procurement, Production Planning, Purchasing, SAP Applications, Supply Chain, Supply Chain Analysis, Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Planning, and Warehousing.
• Cross-org skills in Effective Communication, Results Orientation, Learning Agility, Digital Fluency, and Customer Centricity.

Nice to have

• Certified Professional in Supply Management (Standards Organizations).
