Overview
Lead and oversee Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) operations and facilities management across a geographically distributed portfolio of 37 sites in 13 cities across India. Ensure reliable building operations, energy optimization, maintenance execution, compliance, safety, and service excellence across multiple locations.
What you'll do
- Oversee end-to-end MEP operations across all assigned sites.
- Ensure uninterrupted operation of HVAC, electrical systems, DG sets, UPS, transformers, plumbing, fire and life safety systems, and BMS.
- Drive standardization of engineering processes and operating procedures across all locations.
- Monitor technical performance metrics and ensure achievement of SLAs and KPIs.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for engineering assets.
- Ensure timely closure of PPM schedules with proper documentation and audit readiness.
- Conduct periodic technical audits and identify reliability improvement opportunities.
- Lead breakdown maintenance and ensure minimal downtime of critical assets.
- Establish escalation protocols and root cause analysis mechanisms for recurring issues.
- Monitor asset health and lifecycle management strategies.
- Drive energy conservation initiatives and sustainability programs across the portfolio.
- Monitor utility consumption trends and identify opportunities for optimization and cost savings.
- Implement energy efficiency projects related to HVAC, lighting, automation, and utilities.
- Track energy KPIs and support reporting requirements.
- Manage Annual Maintenance Contracts for engineering systems and services.
- Evaluate vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Support budgeting, cost control, and commercial evaluations related to engineering services.
- Manage minor capex and infrastructure enhancement projects across sites.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, consultants, and vendors for project execution.
- Ensure projects are completed within scope, timelines, budget, and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and safety requirements.
- Drive EHS standards and safe work practices across all sites.
- Support audits related to engineering, safety, and compliance.
- Lead regional/site engineering teams and provide technical guidance.
- Coordinate with clients, facility teams, procurement, finance, and project stakeholders.
- Build a high-performance engineering culture focused on reliability and continuous improvement.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 12–18 years of experience in MEP operations and facilities management.
- Experience managing large multi-site portfolios across multiple cities.
- Strong exposure to commercial real estate, corporate facilities, industrial, or mixed-use environments.
- Proven experience in energy management, maintenance strategy, and vendor governance.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and critical facility infrastructure.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical distribution, fire systems, BMS, and utilities management.
- Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance planning tools.
- Understanding of statutory compliance and safety regulations applicable in India.
- Budgeting, cost optimization, and project management capabilities.
