Overview
The Duty Engineer will support engineering and operational management for an Accenture facility, coordinating maintenance, compliance, vendors, technical staff, reporting, audits, and client service delivery.
What you'll do
- Coordinate with the Chief Engineer on CAPEX and OPEX budget planning and management.
- Manage and control critical spares according to manufacturer recommendations and inventory.
- Coordinate with the Chief Engineer to maintain M&E-related contracts.
- Carry out engineering and operational procedures.
- Liaise with local authorities on M&E-related facility issues and statutory compliance.
- Liaise with vendors on M&E maintenance and service practices.
- Ensure proper functioning of electrical, HVAC, PAC, water, plumbing, sanitary, elevator, lift, and cafeteria equipment systems.
- Ensure maintenance schedules and shutdowns are followed in consultation with OEMs and Accenture.
- Inspect log books, history cards, checklists, escalation charts, OCP, and PPM schedules daily.
- Ensure 100% uptime and establish practices for seamless service to Accenture.
- Update and maintain statutory documents related to CIEG, fire, lift, explosive, pollution control, and M&E operations.
- Initiate energy management programs to reduce utility costs.
- Handle small renovation projects from initiation to completion when needed.
- Guide technical staff in closing Workplace technical issues.
- Adhere to the 52-week annual M&E maintenance schedule.
- Maintain agreed SLA and KPI consistency with the client.
- Coordinate with the transition team during new facility go-live.
- Participate in emergency evacuation procedures and manage health and safety issues.
- Prepare and collate vendor performance data and escalate as required.
- Track use of e-fit facility tools, including IMT, VMT, Sites Ops modules, and the Site Inspection Tool.
- Track PM work orders in the 360 facility tool and QMS monthly.
- Ensure adherence to the M&E onboarding process and Back to Basic activities conducted by DE.
- Ensure monthly meetings with the builder are held and update the MOM status.
- Ensure mandatory training is conducted as scheduled.
- Conduct onboarding training for new joiners.
- Monitor individual DE core responsibilities and assist the Chief Engineer with performance evaluation.
- Coordinate execution of IC-request works without escalations.
- Prepare the DE shift roster and review M&E and BMS shift schedules.
- Conduct facility walkarounds and ensure the walkaround map and guide are followed and maintained.
- Assist the Facility Manager with ISO, internal, and external audits and necessary documentation at Accenture.
- Coordinate with the DM team on issues requiring assistance.
- Coordinate important and VIP client visits with the Events team and manage them without escalations.
- Conduct scheduled project meetings and focus meetings according to the calendar.
- Participate in and manage half-yearly fire drills.
- Govern and maintain all relevant checklists.
- Manage site operations in the absence of the Chief Engineer.
- Assist the WM or Chief Engineer during crisis situations and BCP.
- Prepare and send daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly engineering activity records to the Chief Engineer.
- Update and maintain log books, history cards, equipment details, service reports, and incident reports daily.
- Prepare daily DSR/walkaround guide, SLA, and engineering reports.
- Prepare weekly major highlights, zonal point, and weekly R&M tracker reports.
- Prepare monthly MMR, fortnightly central store SIH, energy, IIEE, major works carried out, equipment status, LCD projector, statutory compliance, and monthly reports.
- Assist the Chief Engineer with yearly R&M and utility projections.
- Follow the escalation matrix during incidents.
