- Administer Dell Isilon and PowerScale, including access zones, SMB and NFS shares, quotas, snapshots and replication.
- Administer SAN and NAS arrays, including volumes, LUNs, masking, zoning, snapshots, replication and tiering.
- Manage storage capacity planning, performance troubleshooting, firmware, lifecycle and support contracts.
- Coordinate with the Storage and Backup Engineer on protection policy, restore and disaster recovery.
- Administer Active Directory forests, domains, domain controllers, FSMO roles, sites and services, replication, organizational units, groups and schema-affecting changes.
- Administer Group Policy, DNS and DHCP, including GPOs, zones, records, conditional forwarders, scopes, reservations and failover.
- Maintain directory hygiene and privileged access, including tiering, service accounts, stale objects, privileged access management and access reviews.

- Execute domain controller promotion and demotion, functional level raises, and domain or forest migration and consolidation.
- Manage recurring patching for Windows Server, hypervisors, firmware and supporting infrastructure.
- Remediate enterprise vulnerability management findings through closure and report remediation status, risk acceptance and exceptions.
- Maintain CIS or equivalent hardening baselines and remediate configuration drift.
- Perform pre-patch and post-patch validation and document each cycle.
- Follow and enforce change control, risk assessment, rollback planning and maintenance-window coordination.
- Author and maintain runbooks for patching, builds, upgrades, failovers and recovery.
- Administer AWS and Microsoft Azure infrastructure-as-a-service workloads, including compute, disks, images, virtual networking, security groups and tagging.
- Extend Windows Server and Active Directory practices into cloud environments, including domain-joined servers, DNS resolution and hybrid connectivity.
- Apply build, hardening, patching and monitoring standards to cloud servers using Azure Update Manager, AWS Systems Manager or enterprise tooling.
- Support workload assessment, migration and rollback between on-premises and cloud.
- Monitor cloud consumption and remove orphaned instances, disks and snapshots.
- Support backup, replication and disaster recovery, and participate in DR drills and restore testing.
- Develop PowerShell automation and infrastructure-as-code to reduce repetitive administration and configuration drift.
- Provide second- and third-level support for Windows, virtualization, storage and cloud issues through root cause resolution.
- Work the assigned shift and complete and verify documented shift handovers.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced engineers and maintain technical documentation.
