Chief Security Officer (CSO) – Administration

Overview

Lead enterprise security strategy and operations across manufacturing locations, offices, utility areas and plant expansion sites in Chennai. Protect people, facilities, assets, information, critical infrastructure and business operations through risk-based security practices.

What you'll do

• Develop security strategies, policies, standards, SOPs and governance.
• Conduct threat, vulnerability and security risk assessments.
• Manage access control, visitor management, CCTV, perimeter and restricted-area protection.
• Lead guard-force deployment, training, discipline and vendor performance.
• Drive security technology including CCTV analytics, VMS, RFID, alarms and control-room systems.
• Lead investigations into theft, pilferage, unauthorized access, sabotage, fraud and incidents.
• Manage crisis response, audits, compliance, budgets, CAPEX and corrective actions.

What you'll need

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the forces.
• 6–10 years of industrial-background experience handling more than 500 headcounts.
• Ex-serviceman background from any force.
• Commissioned Officer experience at Major, Colonel or equivalent level.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Experience in physical security, crisis management, investigations, audits and vendor leadership.
• Ability to manage security risks, incidents and decisions under pressure.

Nice to have

• NCC B or C certificate.
• PG Diploma in crisis or risk management.
• CPP or PSP certification from ASIS.
