Staff Technical Program Manager

Overview

Lead complex enterprise technical programs for financial products, partnering with Product and Engineering leadership on strategy, delivery, and scalable architecture. The role combines program management, Agile coaching, process design, and technical governance.

What you'll do

• Drive multiple software initiatives to on-time, in-scope, and on-budget delivery.
• Translate business needs into technical roadmaps and API contracts.
• Manage release performance, scalability, and reliability targets.
• Establish risk frameworks, health dashboards, and OKR/KPI governance.
• Design enterprise processes and coach teams on software delivery practices.
• Facilitate technical design reviews and architectural trade-off decisions.
• Govern Atlassian tools and implement AI-assisted reporting and documentation automation.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of Technical Program Management experience in large-scale software delivery.
• 3+ years leading or mentoring technical program managers.
• Experience managing end-to-end SDLC for complex distributed systems.
• Expertise in the Atlassian Suite, including Jira Software, JPD, and JSM.
• Expertise scaling and tailoring Scrum practices.
• Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and unblock teams autonomously.
• Ability to engage deeply in technical and architectural discussions.

Nice to have

• Experience with personal or wealth management tools.
• Experience managing AI/ML product development and deployment.
• 3+ years in a technical role such as SWE, SRE, DevOps, or Systems Architect.
• PMP or CSM certification.
