Client Accounting Specialist (AR Dispute Representative)

Overview

Client Accounting Specialist (AR Dispute Representative) role at Veradigm focused on managing client billing disputes, collections and accounts receivable.

What you'll do

• Manage a high volume of client communications (calls, cases, faxes, emails).
• Negotiate with clients to reduce aged balances and ensure smooth cash flow.
• Resolve complex client inquiries and billing disputes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to research and resolve issues.
• Administer the Billing Disputes Queue and investigate client requests promptly.
• Provide quarterly collectability analysis to support bad debt calculations.
• Respond to urgent client inquiries to prevent escalations.
• Explain contract terms and billing details clearly to clients.
• Prepare and submit credit approval requests; ensure timely processing.
• Ensure compliance with the Credit Authority Matrix.
• Keep management updated on all client escalations.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in billing disputes, collections, or AR.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret contracts and reconciliations.
• Strong work ethic, adaptability, and ability to handle multiple priorities.
