Overview
Manage, optimize, and expand programmatic advertising accounts on the Yahoo Demand Side Platform (DSP). Partner with Sales, Client Services, and cross-functional teams to deliver campaign performance, client insights, troubleshooting, reporting, and platform enablement.
What you'll do
- Manage an end-to-end portfolio of DSP campaigns, including campaign setup, pacing, delivery, and performance against client ROI/CPA benchmarks.
- Utilize native DSP predictive optimization algorithms and AI-powered performance analytics to model campaign scenarios, anticipate pacing bottlenecks, and implement proactive performance adjustments.
- Monitor real-time campaign delivery and pacing health, troubleshoot technical issues, validate platform optimization suggestions, and resolve delivery discrepancies.
- Use enterprise generative AI and productivity tools to draft campaign wrap-up summaries, synthesize trend reports, and create initial Quarterly Business Review drafts.
- Identify repetitive campaign management and reporting tasks and recommend automated or AI-assisted solutions to improve team efficiency.
- Serve as the primary operational contact for campaign-related inquiries and manage collaboration across Sales, Client Service & Operation, Product & Engineering, DSP Support, Legal, PYM, Supply, Billing, Order Quality Assurance, and Finance.
- Partner with Sales and the Client Service & Operation Team to identify up-sell and cross-sell opportunities and support account retention and renewals with data-backed campaign performance narratives.
- Deliver Strategic Insights reports and performance analyses, including investigation and reconciliation of audience attribution and reporting discrepancies.
- Conduct client platform walk-throughs and feature enablement sessions to drive self-sufficiency and deeper adoption of the Yahoo DSP.
- Provide frontline feedback to Product and Engineering teams regarding platform enhancements, client feature requests, and early-stage beta testing.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of professional experience in programmatic account management, digital media planning, or ad operations, including direct experience managing DSP campaigns.
- Hands-on operational experience with leading demand-side platforms, such as Yahoo DSP, DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, or similar platforms.
- Experience analyzing campaign analytics, attribution reports, and raw delivery data to optimize performance KPIs.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data modeling.
- Experience working with enterprise CRM systems.
- Strong client-facing communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical and programmatic concepts clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with or aptitude for utilizing AI-assisted analytics, automated pacing tools, or generative AI productivity applications to interpret data and streamline workflows.
Nice to have
- Prior experience working in a global, matrixed organization supporting multi-region stakeholders, specifically EMEA or NAR.
- Practical experience structuring effective prompts or using generative AI platforms to synthesize large datasets, create client summaries, and validate automated outputs.
- High technical aptitude with a track record of rapidly learning and mastering proprietary ad tech and analytics platforms.
- Strong interest in and commitment to the evolving digital advertising and ad tech ecosystem.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities with precision, ownership, and high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

- Work the dedicated EMEA shift schedule to provide operational coverage and real-time collaboration with European stakeholders, sales teams, and advertising clients.
- Yahoo has a flexible-hybrid approach to work; most roles do not require specific regular patterns of in-person office attendance, and on-site work sessions or in-person events may occur with notice.
