Overview
The Client Success Advisor builds and sustains long-term relationships across a portfolio of 20–50 small to mid-sized clients using 1–2 Safeguard Global services. The role translates client goals into actionable plans that drive satisfaction, retention, product adoption, and expansion.
What you'll do
- Establish relationships with operating and senior-level contacts, including CHROs, CFOs, VPs, Directors, and Global Mobility stakeholders.
- Develop an understanding of each client’s business model, priorities, and long-term goals.
- Translate client insights into success plans by defining desired results, identifying risks, establishing governance, and guiding adoption.
- Respond to client queries in a timely and accurate manner using appropriate communication methods.
- Document client interactions in the customer service tool and maintain CRM activities in Salesforce to provide visibility of client KPIs.
- Educate clients on advanced product capabilities, roadmap items, and best practices to maximize adoption and value.
- Support clients in scoping exercises to help convert opportunities into revenue.
- Provide structured analysis for commercial teams supporting renewal conversations, forecasting, and upsell/cross-sell readiness.
- Identify retention risks across countries, service lines, and stakeholders.
- Execute client save motions, including early warning flags, intervention plans, service recovery, executive sponsor engagement, and escalation governance.
- Oversee end-to-end governance of portfolio delivery in accordance with contractual obligations and service standards.
- Lead business reviews and multi-stakeholder planning sessions.

- Solid written, verbal, and virtual communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for clients.
- Effective prioritization and time-management skills across a dynamic client portfolio.
- Foundational account governance skills, including documenting client goals, risks, and success drivers.
- Ability to interpret operational data and apply insights to improve client outcomes.
- Problem-solving capability and comfort working cross-functionally to resolve issues.
- Growth-oriented mindset and ability to identify opportunities that support product adoption and client value.
- High attention to detail, CRM discipline, and consistency in documentation.
- Experience in a service delivery and/or account management role focused on client relationship and growth, including customer support, operations, HR/payroll administration, or related fields.
- Familiarity with upselling techniques for products or services.
- Demonstrated use of data in building account plans.
- History of customer growth/satisfaction and operational KPIs.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
