Overview
Application Developer Consultant for Red Hat’s German Services team, focusing on cloud-native development and infrastructure/cloud technology with clients.
What you'll do
- Develop common libraries and services and implement reference implementations.
- Coach client development teams in modern development methodologies.
- Conduct mini enablements and support DevEx initiatives.
- Develop conversion and system implementation plans and prepare system/programming documentation for approval.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for technical/developmental/strategic IT needs.
- Lead identification, system architecture definition, software specification/design, testing, and deployment of complex open source solutions.
- Deliver on-site or remote results on time and within project scope with required documentation.
What you'll need
- Excellent knowledge of infrastructure technologies at delivery level.
- Experience implementing container technologies in an enterprise setting.
- Knowledge of Red Hat infrastructure solutions such as OpenShift Container Platform, RHEL, or Ansible Automation Platform.
- Skills in Java Spring Boot or Python.
- DevOps skills including Helm and GitOps (Argo CD) and GitLab CI/CD.
- German language skill level C1 or above (mandatory).
Nice to have
- Keycloak knowledge.
- Observability tools knowledge (Prometheus, Loki, Tempo/OTEL, Grafana).
- Service mesh knowledge (Istio).
- DevSecOps, Kafka, PostgreSQL, and other listed tooling knowledge (Microcks, OPL, JMeter, Cucumber).
- Prior consulting role experience or Red Hat certifications.
- Ability/willingness to get security cleared.
