Cloud Automation & Platform Engineer

Overview

Cloud Automation & Platform Engineer to support development of software solutions and services using cloud software development techniques, including designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Design and manage cloud infrastructure components such as virtual machines, containers, storage, networking, and security configurations.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and services to maintain system performance.
• Develop solutions to protect and manage cloud-native applications and data.
• Coordinate cloud architecture across application development, identity and access management, networking, data management, and security.
• Support efficient data storage and processing in line with cloud security policies and best practices.
• Execute work using Test Driven Development (TDD) and support continuous integration/continuous deployment.

What you'll need

• Typically requires 2-4 years of work experience.
• Prefer experience in distributed & cloud computing, cloud/software design, programming languages, or agile development methodologies.
• Requires an four-year/graduate degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline, or commensurate work experience.
• Knowledge of software engineering and agile methodology.
• Skills listed include Java, JavaScript, Python, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, DevOps, and microservices.
• Familiarity with APIs and SQL for data and system analysis.
