Cloud Computing Engineer

Overview

Cloud Compute Engineer role supporting Kubernetes and AWS-based compute infrastructure. You will design, build, operate, and continuously optimize container clusters and related compute services.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and operate Kubernetes clusters on Amazon EKS.
• Manage and optimize EC2-based compute infrastructure.
• Operate and improve ECS-based services where applicable.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Collaborate with development and platform teams on compute patterns and deployment best practices.
• Monitor compute environments for availability, performance, and cost.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5 to 10 years hands-on experience operating Kubernetes in production.
• Deep knowledge of AWS compute and container services, particularly EC2 and ECS.
• Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with software development in Python.
• Solid understanding of Linux systems, container runtimes, and networking fundamentals.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
• Knowledge of cloud security principles including IAM, network segmentation, and secrets management.
