Overview

Cloud Engineering Intern for Expedia’s 2027 Global Summer Internship Program, focused on building and supporting cloud infrastructure and scalable solutions.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure components supporting Expedia applications and services.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code to provision and manage cloud resources reliably and at scale.
• Participate in system design covering low-level design (LLD), API design, and data modeling under guidance.
• Support monitoring, logging, and alerting configurations to improve cloud operability and reliability.
• Safely integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions within cloud workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize performance.

What you'll need

• Must be available to commit to the full program dates (APAC: May/June 2026).
• Must be graduating with an undergraduate or master’s degree in a technical subject between December 2027 and July 2028.
• Must be willing to relocate to the city of the job location if outside commuting distance.
• Must be graduating from university in the same country of internship location.
• Must have no more than 2 years of professional experience in a similar role.
