DevOps Engineer

Overview

DevOps Engineer role focused on building and operating infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and operational tooling to improve reliability and developer experience.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and deployment automation.
• Support reliability, scalability, and performance of development and production environments.
• Improve developer workflows via automation, tooling, and documentation.
• Work on observability including monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and incident response.
• Partner with software engineers and platform teams to troubleshoot issues and improve delivery processes.
• Participate in on-call rotations and help resolve operational incidents.
• Maintain infrastructure standards, security practices, and operational runbooks.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with production cloud infrastructure in AWS or GCP.
• Hands-on experience with containerized/orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes/EKS.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform) and environment-specific configurations.
• Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Operational experience including on-call rotations, production incidents, and observability tools (Datadog, Splunk, Grafana).
• Familiarity with formal ticketing systems such as Jira or ServiceNow.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes.

Nice to have

• Bonus: Experience with GitOps-based deployment workflows and tools such as ArgoCD.
• Bonus: Familiarity with cost optimization practices like tagging and rightsizing.
• Bonus: Exposure to security-focused automation such as secrets management and vulnerability/scanning workflows.
• Bonus: Experience writing scripts or lightweight tooling in Python, Bash, or Go.
