Sr. Site Reliability Engineer, Engineering Stack Support

Overview

Sr. Site Reliability Engineer for Engineering Stack Support (ESS), improving engineering stack availability, latency, performance, and operational reliability.

What you'll do

• Partner with development teams and product managers to architect and build highly available, performant, and secure features.
• Measure, monitor, and report application and infrastructure health.
• Improve micro-services performance and address scaling/performance issues.
• Perform capacity management and planning.
• Participate in 24X7 on-call rotations.
• Apply an engineering mindset to troubleshooting, debugging, and system administration.

What you'll need

• 5+ years experience troubleshooting Unix/Linux.
• Networking concepts understanding including TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, IPSec, GRE, and VPN.
• Experience with algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis, and software design.
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go.
• Experience managing a large-scale web operations role.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible, Kubernetes, SQL and NoSQL datastores, and CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience with openstack, AWS, or GCP and automation.
• Experience with SumoLogic, Grafana/Prometheus, and Elastic Stack.
