Cloud Migration Engineer

Overview

Cloud Migration Engineer to assess current systems and plan, deliver, and implement application and data migrations to cloud environments.

What you'll do

• Evaluate existing solutions and infrastructure to determine cloud migration approach.
• Lead development and implementation of migration strategies for cloud adoption.
• Plan and execute application and data migration for scalable, high-performance outcomes.
• Collaborate with multiple teams and facilitate stakeholder communication on migration efforts.
• Monitor migration progress and adapt strategies to meet evolving requirements.
• Support junior team members with guidance and best practices.

What you'll need

• Minimum 12 years of experience is required.
• Proficiency in Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL).
• Strong knowledge of database migration techniques and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience designing scalable, high-performance cloud-based solutions.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize database performance during and after migration.
• Familiarity with private and public cloud platforms and their integration with existing systems.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in PLSQL is required.
• 15 years full time education is required.
