Overview
Provides hands-on operational support for Levi's Enterprise Cloud Services across Azure and Google Cloud, maintaining secure, reliable, observable and cost-effective services while building foundational cloud engineering, automation, DevOps and AI-enabled operations skills.
What you'll do
- Monitor and support Azure and GCP compute, storage, networking, identity, container, database and managed platform services; perform routine administration and approved changes.
- Respond to alerts, incidents and service requests; troubleshoot using logs, metrics, traces, queries and documented procedures; communicate status and escalate appropriately.
- Support 24x7 production services through a scheduled on-call rotation and participate in incident response, recovery, post-incident reviews and corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code and automation using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python or equivalent tools, with source control, peer review, testing and documentation.
- Operate and improve CI/CD and GitOps workflows using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins or equivalent platforms.
- Support containerized workloads and managed Kubernetes services such as AKS or GKE, including deployment, configuration, monitoring and basic troubleshooting.
- Build and maintain observability dashboards, alerts, SLI/SLO measurements, runbooks and automated remediation using cloud-native and enterprise monitoring tools.
- Apply DevSecOps practices by supporting IAM, secrets management, vulnerability remediation, policy as code, configuration compliance and software supply-chain controls.
- Use FinOps reports and cloud billing data to maintain resource tags, identify waste, recommend rightsizing and improve cost allocation.
- Use approved generative AI and AIOps tools to summarize telemetry, correlate events, draft queries or scripts, improve knowledge articles and accelerate troubleshooting; validate outputs and protect confidential data.
- Contribute reusable modules, service templates, APIs, documentation and self-service workflows for the internal developer platform.
- Collaborate with application, security, network, data, service-management and vendor teams; keep operational records and knowledge current.
