Cloud Platform Engineer (Day Shift)

Overview

Cloud Platform Engineer for an Enterprise Architecture team, focused on designing and implementing cloud-first infrastructure and driving cloud transformation.

What you'll do

• Architect scalable, secure AWS and other cloud solutions aligned to enterprise standards.
• Establish infrastructure-as-code practices using Terraform with reusable modules and frameworks.
• Build CI/CD pipelines to automate code through production deployment with security embedded at each stage.
• Integrate DevSecOps into the development lifecycle with automated security scanning, compliance monitoring, and governance controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver application experiences.
• Mentor engineers and promote cloud best practices.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of hands-on AWS experience including EC2, S3, RDS, FSx, Lambda, ECS/EKS, VPC networking, and IAM.
• Terraform expertise including module development, state management, and multi-environment deployments.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, and AWS CodePipeline.
• Integrate security tools such as SonarQube, Snyk, Trivy, or AWS Security Hub and understand SOC 2, ISO 27001, or CIS benchmarks.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash for automation scripting.
• Subject matter expertise in network operations and secure operations.
