Overview
Develop, maintain and debug C# application code, API interfaces and database functions for applications that process, ingest and transform data and create or maintain user interfaces.
What you'll do
- Develop interfaces, applications and other technical solutions.
- Create and modify C# software source code, SQL scripts and procedures.
- Work under tight deadlines and juggle priorities as needed.
- Work independently as well as in a collaborative environment.
- Design and implement database queries, stored procedures and related functions.
- Support implementation, enhancement and modification of test cases, procedures, scripts and code.
- Contribute to and support gathering, analyzing and validating requirements.
- Develop, maintain and update detailed design and interface specifications from requirement specifications.
- Contribute to and support root-cause analysis of failures.
- Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, processes and task assignments.
- Maintain positive and cooperative communication and collaboration with employees, customers, contractors and vendors at all levels.
- Identify and routinely use effective, cost-efficient and best-practice processes, evaluate their effectiveness and appropriateness, and promote continuous quality improvement and risk management.
What you'll need
- 3+ years of total combined experience.
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- 3+ years’ experience in Microsoft Visual Studio (C#/VB.NET).
- 3+ years’ experience in database development (SQL Server / PostgreSQL).
- Knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Microservices.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
- Familiarity with various design and architectural patterns.
- Knowledge of concurrency patterns in C#.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to debug and isolate software problems.
- Experience with ASP.NET / Internet Information Services (IIS).
- Knack for writing clean, readable C# code.
- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
- Ability to create database schemas that represent and support business processes.
- Ability to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Source Control Software).
- Familiarity with continuous integration.

- Work shift: Standard.
- Significant work activity: Continuous sitting for prolonged periods, more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day.
