Commissioning Engineer

Overview

Join the Commissioning Engineer Team for Fire Alarm System commissioning. The role involves commissioning, programming, testing, documentation, project delivery, customer coordination and technical support for site teams.

What you'll do

• Render commissioning for Fire Alarm System.
• Configure FAS graphics implementation and documentation.
• Ensure quality assurance and defect-free hardware and software package delivery.
• Adhere to all processes and guidelines to execute projects within timeline.
• Test equipment on site.
• Demonstrate adherence to operational process requirements to drive efficiency.
• Maintain assigned KPIs and own meeting them.
• Achieve customer satisfaction by completing work on time.
• Maintain relationships with key influencers and decision-makers within customer organizations to get certifications on work done.
• Coordinate with other vendors for interface.
• Coordinate with Architects, Clients and Contractors at various stages of the project.
• Manage the team of site engineers and Technicians working under the role.
• Support site teams on technical aspects to resolve customer queries and issues.

What you'll need

• ME/BE/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Electronics & Telecommunication.
• 4-8 years’ experience in Fire Alarm commissioning.
• Strong domain knowledge of Fire Alarm systems, including Simplex, Edwards and Notifier.
• Knowledge of NFPA 72, IBC and relevant codes and standards.
• Time-bound delivery of project deliverables.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with detail as well as with general assignments.
• A professional, results-oriented individual with a high degree of self-motivation.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Certification for FAS commissioning and programming for Simplex Panels.
• Knowledge of other system design and commissioning.
