Commissioning Engineer

Overview

The Commissioning Engineer will create, coordinate, optimize and manage BIM and MEP models for engineering services and construction projects using Revit MEP, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD, BIM 360 and ACC.

What you'll do

• Review MEP drawings.
• Create MEP models in Revit from CAD drawings and PDFs.
• Design mechanical firefighting sprinkler and suppression systems in Revit according to designed CAD drawings and markups.
• Place sprinklers, mechanical equipment, valves and accessories in Revit.
• Provide pipe routing in Revit.
• Create spaces and rooms.
• Extract schedules using different categories.
• Optimize MEP models.
• Check clashes within and between services using Navisworks Manage.
• Resolve clashes.
• Coordinate MEP services with the program schedule.
• Prepare Revit parametric families, schedules, construction documents, shop drawings and as-built drawings using Revit MEP.
• Work in BIM 360 Collaboration and ACC.
• Manage medium-sized projects individually.
• Work with the team on big projects.
• Meet and coordinate with global clients on a project basis.

What you'll need

• Minimum 2 - 5 years REVIT, BIM, Navisworks, AutoCAD and MS-Excel experience.
• Revit experience and detailed understanding of its processing as per BEP.
• Experience setting up and maintaining projects, files, families and work sets, and working on BIM360 projects.
• Knowledge of clash detection in Navisworks and BIM 360.
• Knowledge of Revit plugins or add-ins.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in the MEP Construction Field.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
