Configuration Engineer

Overview

Configuration Engineer responsible for creating and managing SKU-level BOMs and product configurations for Personal Health products. The role focuses on PLM data quality, configuration and change management, and cross-functional product lifecycle support.

What you'll do

• Create, release, and maintain SKU BOMs for finished goods, including packaging, manuals, and accessories.
• Build and manage product variants, options, and effectivities in PLM and synchronize them with ERP.
• Execute controlled, auditable change management through ECR and ECN processes.
• Lead Service BOM creation and align Service BOMs with EBOM and MBOM structures.
• Maintain master data across part, document, BOM, and PLM objects.
• Coordinate configuration baselines and release plans with engineering, quality, operations, service, and supply chain teams.
• Support audits and CAPAs related to product data, configuration integrity, and document control.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, manufacturing engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• 3–6 years of experience in PLM or Configuration Management.
• Hands-on PLM experience, with Windchill highly preferred.
• Experience with product configuration and Configuration Management for complex products.
• Working knowledge of ERP and PLM–ERP integration concepts.
• Experience with Change, Part, BOM, and Document Management.
• Fluent written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice to have

• CM2 or CMII certification.
• PTC Windchill certification.

• Location: Pune.
• Office-based teams work in person at least 3 days per week.
