Configuration Management Engineer

Overview

Configuration Management Engineer responsible for creating, maintaining, and governing Master BOMs and product structures across engineering and manufacturing systems.

What you'll do

• Create and maintain Master BOMs and product structures.
• Review and authorize engineering changes affecting Master BOMs.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Planning to implement and control changes.
• Manage the Engineering Change process, including impact assessment and evaluation on Manufacturing and Supply Chain.
• Generate and maintain assembly BOMs in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Maintain engineering documentation including drawings, BOMs, specifications, and related documents.

What you'll need

• 5–7 years of experience in Production Planning, Manufacturing, or Engineering with BOM management and ERP exposure.
• BE or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with a proactive learning attitude.
• Experience with Teamcenter (TcE) and UG NX is an added advantage.
• Working knowledge of MRP and work orders/job orders and assembly shop floor planning processes.
