Configuration Management Engineer

Overview

Configuration Management Engineer focused on variant configuration product models and dependency rules, with SAP environment content release and cross-functional work.

What you'll do

• Use VC modeling experience and IPC in CRM.
• Configure and write dependency rules for complex configurable materials with cross-functional integration.
• Manage production releases of content between SAP environments using ALE.
• Work with business subject matter experts to follow provided modeling styles and templates.
• Apply knowledge of integration points between SAP modules including material management, Sales and Distribution, and Production Planning.

What you'll need

• Experience with highly complex models.
• Knowledge of variant configuration product model aspects including classes, characteristics, configuration profiles, tables, variant pricing, functions, dependency nets with constraints, BOM class nodes, preconditions, selection conditions, procedures, and complex super-bills of material.
• Knowledge of ECM and knowledge base updates.
• Good communication skills for close work with business subject matter experts.
• Working knowledge of SAP integration points across material management, Sales and Distribution, and Production Planning.

Nice to have

• Macro or BI knowledge.
• Experience in training people and process documentation.
