Consultant

Overview

Consult on procurement and supply chain initiatives that improve efficiency, effectiveness, spend influence, and value for clients. Manage analyst teams and deliver quantitative and qualitative assessments for client stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Lead projects involving spend analysis, strategic sourcing, forecasting, and consolidation.
• Manage governance and performance for a team of 8 to 10 analysts.
• Assess risks and propose mitigation plans with support teams.
• Communicate team goals, deliverables, and scope changes.
• Coach team members and delegate work to support succession planning.
• Develop TCO and should-cost models and present findings to stakeholders.
• Conduct sourcing research, RFx activities, negotiations, and savings assessments.

What you'll need

• 3–5 years of supply chain, procurement, or consulting experience with a Fortune 1,000 company.
• Previous supply chain or procurement experience.
• Expertise in financial assessments, data assessments, and MS Excel, including pivot tables, charts, and graphs.
• Expertise creating MS PowerPoint presentations.
• Strong written, verbal, and formal presentation communication skills.
• Experience with supply chain and procurement assessments, including interviewing, modeling, analytics, and report writing.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• At least 3 years of experience with a procure-to-pay platform such as Ariba or Coupa.
