Consultant India BPA

Overview

Consultant role in the Transfer Agency BPA Change Management team in India, handling client change, operational and regulatory change, modernization programs, system development, installs and upgrades, and critical testing activities.

What you'll do

• Plan, elicit, analyze, outline and develop requirements by coordinating with business and technology teams
• Prepare business requirement documentation, user stories and acceptance criteria
• Prepare test strategies and plans, execute test cases (manual or automated), review results and troubleshoot defects
• Facilitate business analysis, development and testing, taking ownership throughout the project lifecycle and implementation
• Support new client and fund launches in core systems
• Support system upgrades, installs and product release testing for large and small projects and changes
• Serve as a Change Advocate, establishing trust with corresponding business teams and building enthusiasm within the teams
• Work closely with regional functional managers across processes and projects to ensure communication and smooth implementation
• Ensure all projects are delivered as per agreed governance, SDLC and Agile framework

What you'll need

• Overall experience of 7-10 years in the transfer agency domain
• FIS Transfer Agency core applications knowledge
• Proven experience as a business analyst, tester or in a similar role
• Strong experience in change initiatives covering Scrum, Agile, IT and product development, with a track record in complex projects and change initiatives
• Ability to provide project management consultation and leadership to peers and others
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks
• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Location: Pune, India
• Core applications knowledge areas include FIS TA, 3270, Funds AUM, OLA, TAARA and RTC, with exposure to mutual funds, collective investment trusts and hedge funds
• Eligibility for internal partners: 24 months as a Technical Coordinator/Associate Consultant to move to Team Leader/Consultant; movement within TL and Consultant is 12 months
