Senior IT Quality Tech Lead Analyst

Overview

Senior IT Quality Tech Lead Analyst responsible for functional, automation and regression testing, UAT and product rollout to production, and for quality process monitoring, audits and standards across the software development lifecycle. Acts as recognized technical authority and advisor/mentor for junior team members.

What you'll do

• Perform functional, automation and regression testing and all initiatives related to the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and product rollout into production.
• Work with technology project managers, UAT professionals and users to design and implement appropriate scripts/plans for an application testing strategy/approach.
• Conduct a broad range of complex process monitoring, product evaluation and audit assignments.
• Follow industry quality trends and apply them to the current environment as appropriate.
• Interact with various levels of management and communicate technology-level process changes.
• Ensure project standards and procedures exist, are fully and clearly documented, and are followed throughout the software development life cycle.
• Monitor products for conformance to standards and processes for conformance to procedures; identify risks; ensure annual organizational reviews of standards and procedures are conducted.
• Document findings and perform root cause analyses.
• Recommend solutions and improvements to existing standards and procedures; collaborate with other areas in technology to develop new standards and procedures.
• Ensure all corrective actions are assigned, documented and completed.
• Verify traceability in project work products.
• Gather, maintain and report on quality metrics.
• Act as advisor and mentor for junior members of the team.
• Analyze requirements and execute tests; document testing requirements and processes for all applications to ensure QA policies and standards are met.
• Perform other duties and functions as assigned.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

What you'll need

• 6-10 years of experience in an IT Quality role.
• Ability to work independently or within groups on assigned projects.
• In-depth knowledge, understanding and analytical thought.
• Comprehensive knowledge of several areas within IT Quality and a good understanding of the industry.
• Strong understanding of testing processes.
• In-depth understanding of the Systems Development Lifecycle and solid experience in several phases of systems development, preferably in testing program management.
• Must demonstrate confidence in their abilities.
• Bachelor's/University degree.
