Associate, Consultant BPA

Overview

Join the Transfer Agency BPA team in India to support, develop and test the InvestOne application and its ancillary applications used within the Fund Accounting business unit.

What you'll do

• Review and analyze system specifications, and collaborate with the project team to develop effective test strategies and plans.
• Provide support for functional and technical queries, ensuring superior client service to business users.
• Execute test cases (manual or automated), review results for Multifonds and other Transfer Agency applications, and troubleshoot defects.
• Interact and liaise with IT and external vendors to resolve issues and defects in a timely fashion.
• Demonstrate expertise in high-profile projects and system upgrades, testing for large and small projects and changes.
• Collaborate, elicit, analyse, outline and develop requirements for dockets and small changes, coordinating with business and technology teams.
• Provide analysis and take ownership throughout the project lifecycle, from scoping and high-level business requirements through detailed business requirements and implementation as required.
• Utilize available subject matter expertise to perform functional reviews of transformational initiatives and on-going BAU change agendas.
• Serve as a Change Advocate; establish trust within the corresponding business teams and gain enthusiasm within the teams.
• Work closely with regional functional managers in various processes and projects to ensure communication and smooth implementation.

What you'll need

• Proven experience as a QA tester or similar role for fund accounting/applications.
• Experience in project management and QA methodology.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors/defects.
• Working knowledge of fund accounting and testing guidelines.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
• Strong organizational skills.
• A good understanding of the Transfer Agency Multifonds application.
• Overall experience of 4-6 years and minimum 4 years of Business Analyst/Testing experience in Transfer Agency department.

Nice to have

• ISTQB certification.
• BA certification.

• Location: Pune, India.
• Eligibility for internal partners: 24 months as a Senior Analyst to move as a Technical Coordinator/Associate Consultant; movement within TC and Associate Consultant is 12 months.
