Consultant - SAP Basis

Overview

Consultant - SAP Basis to support global SAP infrastructure operations for an SAP datacenter in Microsoft Azure.

What you'll do

• Operate and globally manage the SAP environment in the Microsoft Azure datacenter.
• Execute service requests including data reloads, administrative tasks, and minor application changes.
• Implement changes to local or regional applications.
• Handle daily handover to Germany and manage/resolve technical incidents for worldwide users.
• Perform system refreshes, system copies, and SAP backup & recovery activities.
• Carry out SAP support pack and kernel upgrades and deploy add-on components using SPAM/SAINT.
• Monitor and optimize SAP systems, databases, operating systems, and networks for performance, availability, and stability.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of SAP Basis experience.
• Experience with SAP BASIS for ERP in an ECC 6 environment.
• Experience with Oracle and/or HANA database.
• Preferable experience with S/4 HANA and cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Skills in 2nd and 3rd level analysis and troubleshooting.
• Ability to process requests from internal partners.
