Overview
Consulting Engineer to work with enterprise customers on implementing graph-powered solutions using Neo4j across the full project lifecycle.
What you'll do
- Lead and contribute to Neo4j implementations from initial design through production roll-out.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert during consulting engagements with hands-on guidance.
- Design and implement graph data models for complex relationships and high-performance querying.
- Architect and build solutions meeting functional and non-functional requirements using Neo4j.
- Support modern data and AI architectures including enabling advanced analytics, search, and RAG patterns.
- Collaborate with customer AI/data teams to integrate Neo4j into orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
- Provide best-practice guidance for data engineering, including optimizing data ingestion patterns into Neo4j.
What you'll need
- 3+ years designing and developing enterprise-class applications for data-driven or analytics-focused systems.
- Strong experience modeling data structures for complex applications across relational, NoSQL, or graph databases.
- Practical experience structuring and optimizing data for search, analytics, or AI-driven applications.
- Competence building with at least one of: Java, JavaScript, Python, Go, or C#.
- Experience deploying on platforms such as Linux, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with source control and development workflows using tools such as Git.
- Excellent written and verbal communication to explain technical concepts to customers.

- Travel may be required depending on customer engagement needs.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s is a plus.
