Control Room Engineer (PLC & SCADA)

Overview

Responsible for remote monitoring and control of the global fleet of Fuel Cell Plants from the Remote Monitoring and Command Center in India.

What you'll do

• Remotely monitor and control the Fuel Cell Plants.
• Work in 8-hour shifts, either during the day or night.
• Communicate and support Field Service Engineers during commissioning and troubleshooting, and the Product Quality testing team.
• Escalate failures per established procedure.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you'll need

• Good at Diploma subject fundamentals.
• Basic understanding of working safely with fuels (methane, propane, etc.) and high temperature applications.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, piping, plumbing, valves and valve operation.
• Experience in basic software such as Windows OS and MS-Office.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal).
• Polytechnic diploma in Chemical, Mechanical, Energy Systems Engineering or Electrical.
• 0 to 2 years of related experience in the above mentioned field.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of DCS / SCADA environment, preferred in case of experienced candidates.

• Shift work: 8-hour shifts, day or night.
