Support Production Management across multiple scripted series in Netflix India's Series team, acting as the day-to-day link between Netflix teams and Production House partners from development through delivery.
What you'll do
- Break down and review series budgets and schedules with EPs, Line Producers and production companies, using market-rate benchmarks to flag savings and risks.
- Track spend against approved budgets with Production Finance, flag variances early and recommend mitigations.
- Review scripts for feasibility and cost, and recommend production approaches such as location and scheduling strategy, crew structure and block shooting.
- Keep projects moving when scripts, scope or approvals are unsettled by setting out options and trade-offs, making a recommendation, and helping Creative, Finance, Business & Legal Affairs reach a decision.
- Escalate early when creative ambition, budget and schedule conflict, and communicate changes clearly to all stakeholders.
- Maintain slate timelines and make dependencies visible across Creative, Production Finance, Business & Legal Affairs, Post and Music.
- Lock and maintain production and post schedules.
- Ensure documentation and delivery meet Netflix technical standards.
- Support EPs in hiring key crew and onboarding vendors such as equipment, studios, post, VFX and locations.
