Core Java Backend Lead Analyst - Vice President

Overview

Lead backend software development for an Equity Finance Post Trade application in Pune. Work with technologists and traders to deliver Java-based business solutions through agile practices.

What you'll do

• Resolve high-impact problems through analysis of complex business and system processes.
• Design applications in line with the overall architecture blueprint.
• Develop coding, testing, debugging, and implementation standards.
• Analyze issues and develop innovative solutions.
• Coach mid-level developers and analysts.
• Allocate work as necessary.
• Assess and manage risks and control issues in business decisions.

What you'll need

• 13+ years of relevant experience in applications development or systems analysis.
• Extensive experience in full-stack Java development.
• Knowledge of databases and messaging platforms.
• Technical skills in Java, Kafka, SQL, and Git.
• Experience with systems analysis and software application programming.
• Experience implementing successful projects.
• Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Prime Services.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
