Corporate Actions Analyst

Overview

The Corporate Action Analyst works within the Trading and Operations division to process corporate actions and stock transfers for IG's global business, serving clients across APAC, EMEA and US.

What you'll do

• Process all mandatory and voluntary corporate action events within IG systems accurately and in a timely manner.
• Send client emails describing corporate action events and election choices.
• Collate client instructions.
• Prepare client bookings.
• Post client dividends across product ranges in different IG systems.
• Reconcile synthetic dividends.
• Handle client queries and queries from the helpdesk.
• Update static data within IG internal systems accurately.
• Resolve reconciliation issues arising from corporate action events.
• Use various data analytical tools to analyze data, generate insightful reports and streamline processes through automation.
• Meet monthly KPIs and targets.
• Support the implementation of various projects within Corporate Actions.

What you'll need

• A minimum of 3-4 years' experience in financial services with good understanding of Corporate Actions.
• Advanced Excel knowledge, including Macro, VBA and Power Query.
• Familiarity with the risks associated with corporate action events, including client money.
• Ability to work with a great deal of attention to detail.
• Great team player.
• Self-motivation and organization, with the ability to manage your own time and tasks effectively.
• Good communication skills.

Nice to have

• Strong data analytical skills such as Tableau.
