Overview
The Business Analytics Analyst is a developing professional role that applies data analysis tools, analytical thinking, statistical methods and industry knowledge to identify business issues, generate insights and formulate recommendations.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute sophisticated digital marketing strategies to grow digital product sales and increase customer footfall and stickiness on platforms.
- Analyze user behavior and campaign performance to identify opportunities for engagement and revenue generation.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses of the website and mobile app to identify and eliminate friction in the customer service journey.
- Analyze customer interaction data to identify opportunities to streamline the digital experience and reduce the need for calls or chats.
- Apply Gen-AI powered analysis to enhance customer interactions, including chatbot performance and personalized user experiences.
- Use analytical intelligence to identify insights that inform strategies for reducing cost-to-serve and improving efficiency across the customer lifecycle.
- Interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns and anomalies, and translate them into insights for business partners and senior leadership.
- Identify and compile data sets using SQL, Python and PySpark to help predict, improve and measure key business-to-business outcomes.
- Use statistical methods and analytical tools to extract insights from large and complex datasets.
- Document data requirements, data collection, processing and cleaning, and exploratory data analysis, including statistical models or algorithms and data visualization techniques.
- Write clean, efficient and well-documented code according to design specifications and coding standards.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2 years of working experience or Master’s Degree with 1 year of working experience.
- Hands-on experience in Python and SQL.
- Analytic ability and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build partnerships with cross-functional teams.
- Hands-on experience working with large, complex, unstructured datasets and data warehouses, and ability to pull data using relevant programs and coding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to be organized, detail oriented and adaptive to a matrix work environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with PySpark.
- Knowledge of digital marketing and Credit Card business, and industry best practices.
- Experience in Investment Analytics, Retail Analytics, Credit Cards, Services, Banking & Markets Financial Services.
- Experience in Python, PySpark, Hive, Impala and SQL programming.
- Credit card Business and P&L experience.
- Knowledge of Adobe site catalyst or another web analytics tool.
