Overview
The Business Analyst will analyze vendor performance, financial, operational, and commercial data to support vendor strategy, sourcing, planning, compliance, and cost optimization.
What you'll do
- Analyze vendor performance, financial, operational, and commercial data to identify trends, gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, scorecards, and KPIs covering vendor performance, headcount, productivity, spend, cost, and compliance.
- Conduct headcount, cost, rate, and spend analysis to support vendor planning, budgeting, and cost optimization.
- Support the Sourcing team with vendor, headcount, rate, cost, location, and scope details required for RFPs and Statement of Work (SOW) development.
- Support RFP/RFI preparation, vendor benchmarking, market research, and vendor evaluation activities.
- Conduct initial contract reviews and drafting support, including SOWs, change orders, and related documentation; identify contractual gaps and risks.
- Maintain vendor rate cards, commercial information, contract details, and other confidential data.
- Perform contract, invoice, and commercial compliance checks against agreed rates, scope, headcount, and contractual terms.
- Prepare vendor quarterly business review decks, executive reports, weekly leadership updates, and data-driven insights for stakeholders.
- Partner with Sourcing, Procurement, Finance, Legal, Operations, and business leaders to support vendor strategy and decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization, process improvement, standardization, and automation across vendor operations.
- Research industry trends, market practices, vendor capabilities, and emerging opportunities to support strategic vendor decisions.

- Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in vendor management, business analysis, sourcing, commercial operations, procurement, or a related field, preferably within a technology, B2B, or outsourcing environment.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis, with working knowledge of SQL and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Vendor management, market research, and benchmarking.
- Strong data analysis, cost analysis, and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Understanding of sourcing, RFP/RFI processes, contracts, SOWs, and commercial terms.
- Strong understanding of the outsourcing/vendor ecosystem, including vendor models, rate structures, headcount, and cost drivers.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Sourcing, Procurement, Finance, Legal, Operations, and business teams.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when handling contracts, rate cards, financial data, and confidential vendor information.
