Country Manager India

Overview

Country Manager India leads business growth strategy for BSI’s India Assurance business, with overall P&L accountability.

What you'll do

• Lead deployment of the Assurance streams strategy and multi-year plan for India.
• Drive profitable growth by adapting the Group plan to India market context.
• Own Sales in India, including sales strategy, pipeline management, and achievement of targets.
• Own P&L for India Assurance, including cost planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic reviews.
• Provide dotted-line leadership and oversight of Assurance Operations in India to align delivery with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with relevant Accreditation requirements and relevant BSI policies, technical, and legal requirements.
• Lead and develop Assurance leadership and people planning in India through HR partnership.

What you'll need

• Proven experience developing, motivating, and leading a winning team.
• Proven experience in a senior leadership position, ideally within a matrix organisation.
• Proven experience managing P&L and financial performance (revenue, profitability, budgeting, forecasting).
• Proven experience leading Sales and developing/executing commercial strategies for sustainable revenue growth.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to build effective relationships.
• Understanding of business planning and budgetary control processes.
• Good level of written and spoken English.

• Includes all aspects of general management, with the geographic scope covering India.
