Commercial Account Manager

Overview

Commercial Account Manager responsible for developing and nurturing strategic partnerships with commercial clients and aligning solutions to client business goals.

What you'll do

• Own account plans for strategic commercial accounts and focus on larger deals and portfolio management.
• Identify customer requirements, map them to organizational capabilities, and determine direct/indirect supply chain.
• Build client relationships up to the executive level and understand unique business needs.
• Develop and execute sales strategies and territory account plans to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
• Lead contract negotiations and maintain positive client relationships to secure profitable deals.
• Monitor sales performance metrics, identify improvement areas, and implement corrective actions.
• Update opportunities in a pipeline tool and recommend pipeline management practices.

What you'll need

• Typically 4-7 years of work experience in account management, tele sales, product specialty, or a related field.
• Four-year/Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in customer relationship management and sales process.
• Sales skills including prospecting, inside/outside sales, selling techniques, upselling, and sales territory management.
• Knowledge of Salesforce is listed in required skills.
• Cash handling and cash register are listed in knowledge & skills.
