Credit Analyst

Overview

The Credit Analyst performs credit underwriting, appraisal, financial analysis and credit proposal preparation for corporate and wholesale banking clients.

What you'll do

• Perform credit underwriting and appraisal for corporate/wholesale banking clients, including detailed credit reports.
• Prepare end-to-end credit proposals covering industry and peer analysis, risk assessment, internal rating, documentation and collateral evaluation.
• Conduct financial analysis covering cash flow, working capital, leverage, EV and ratio analysis.
• Evaluate loan structures, including term loans, working capital facilities and trade finance exposures.
• Assess financial and non-financial covenants and monitor compliance.
• Analyze collateral/security structures, including fund-based and non-fund-based limits.
• Build and review financial models and projections.

What you'll need

• 2–5 years of mandatory experience in Corporate Banking / Wholesale Banking credit roles.
• Strong experience in credit appraisal for large corporates / mid-market clients.
• Solid understanding of banking products, including CC/OD, term loans, BG/LC, etc.
• Expertise in financial statement analysis, credit risk assessment and rating frameworks.
• Proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting.
